Driving from Carnarvon Gorge to Clermont took me almost all day with some time in the library of Emerald, Queensland, Australia to check emails and all other online data because I had been totally disconnected for 3 days.
I tried Subway for the first time and the sandwich tasted quite while, I liked my beef sandwich.
Driving was easy, almost no traffic, and one long stretch of a street.
Charlton is a small town, mining mostly, I tried the caravan park and it was OK.
The recommended Hotel had an empty dinning room, food was OK, but nothing to see, so I left, when they closed it down at 8:00 pm.
Back to the tent, some reading and an early sleep again.
