Melbourne Friday – Monday

Melbourne
I arrived early this morning after a 22 hour flight straight from London with a quick fuel stop in Hong Kong. It was a little weird to disembark the Boeing 474 leaving your luggage on board heading for the exit and then re-enter after one more serious security check from the Chinese authorities. Seats I had to changes as well. Second place was a little better, with a skinny girl to the left, so more space for me.

Flying so long was not as strenuous as I thought. I have seen three new movies I would never had watched without so much time to lay back.
Immigration almost stopped me, because I had no local address supplied.
I got the Sky-bus to the main station Southern Cross and then walked through down-town, early in the morning. At Starbucks I found out that WiFi is free at McDonald's so I headed there and had a tea and some pancakes while checking online for my hostel booking and the exact address, I had forgotten.
The weather is cool, windy and a little rain. Not so nice, really.
The hostels I booked online in advance is a filthy place, but people are nice.
Most of these gays stay here for weeks or month working their time away. We share a internet room here right now with some guys around chatting. I have a six-bed room for myself, which is fair.
I sleep most of the day, woke up at six, had a hot shower and went out to gather some food at Woolworth. Prices a really high for Europeans.
Tomorrow heading down-town sight seeing and doing a little shopping.
I need a few things, a mobile, a knife, lighter, maps, etc.
