Palmerston walks—Boulders | Babinda—Josephine | Falls—Bramston Beach
In the morning, right after our breakfast, we did the walk to the Henrietta Falls, the big round, which was actually a little boring, too much rain forest … green … green … green.
Back on the camp ground, I put down the dried up tent, and we packed all the stuff in the car and off we were to the next lookout. We walked down and up again and took some photos.
Up to Babinda and the Boulders, which was nice, I remembered. A pleasant swim in the Boulder pool with some aboriginal youngsters from around this place. We did see the turtles and the eel again.
In Mirriwinni petrol station we got food necessities for the evening meal at a horrendous price because in Babinda all the shops were closed on this Sunday. At Josephine Falls, it was real fun sliding down the natural rock slide.
Bramston Beach camp site was a positive surprise as well, wide open, good value, simple, straight on the coconut palm tree sandy beach.
The warden was very helpful with the tape he gave us we needed to mend the broken tent pole. He got us eggs from town.
