Bingil | Ravenshoe | Palmerston Camp Ground

I left in Bingil at the YHA Tree House after breakfast and drove to the Lacey Creak Trail. Which I did walk and some part of the Daydream path as well, even so there was no bridge any more, so I waded through the river to pass it.
Hot and humid this morning. I Innisfail, I filled up petrol because it is cheaper in a bigger town than up in the hinterland. Just before Millaa Millaa I saw the waterfall scenic route, I followed to see three waterfalls. Zille and Millaa Millaa waterfalls I remember.
In Millaa Millaa (what a name!) I had lunch in a very nice café.
To Ravenshoe I did the scenic drive and a tiny road again, with one more waterfall (do you believe it ;-). In Ravenshoe I had a chat with the chap at the tourist information, a coffee and then there was my Co-surfer from Charters Towers, I was here for to fetch her up from the horse farm.
We went down the Palmerston Highway and set up the tent for overnight on the National Park Camp Ground. Good night, a French couple speaking with preparing dinner on the barbecue gas stove.
