Etty Bay to Bingil

Thursday 11th of August 2011
Driving from Etty Bay to Bingil | Coffee break | Shopping in Wongaling Beach | hiking up Bicton Hill.
Yesterday I did not do much. Leaving Etty Bay after a cold breakfast and a short walk along the bay's beach too quickly.
I did forget to pick up all my laundry from the clothes line. After a short drive on Bruce Highway, still many road works on the way, I arrived at Bingil and spotted a nice Café on the road. I stopped and where checking emails, wrote two blog entries, read the newspaper, “The Australian” and enjoyed the tranquil old-fashioned music. I tried to catch a couch in Mission Beach, but she quickly replayed, they are full.
I believed it and booked myself into “The Tree House” just up the road on top of a hill in the middle of some rain forest. After a lunch, just chips and a fresh salad, I moved on to Wongaling Beach Woolworth to get some underwear, socks, and shirts. So, I did some decent shopping, spent money and made the local surf shop seller happy.
Thereafter, I did the Bicton Hill walk and spotted giant spiders. See the photos! And of course, some plants 🙂
